Everything we do at the Golden West Chapter advances the search for effective treatments and cures for ALS. The Chapter provides comprehensive and compassionate care services, free of charge, to people living with ALS and their loved ones on all of the islands in Hawaii.

Our evidence-based wraparound model of care includes professional care management services, multidisciplinary ALS clinical care, monthly support groups and educational programs, loans of durable medical equipment and augmentative communication devices, and opportunities to participate in community outreach, advocacy, and awareness activities.

Our Care Management and Community Outreach staff are available to help and support our ALS community throughout Hawaii.

Help Us Unlock ALS In Hawaii - Saturday, September 30

We are very excited to announce that registration is NOW OPEN for the Golden West Chapter's Hawaii Walk to Defeat ALS! Join us in-person for the Walk on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Kapiolani Park in Honolulu.

Fundraising through the Walk drives bold and urgent innovation as we march together toward a treatment and ultimately a cure for ALS. Check out our new, attractive and user-friendly website—registration and navigation of your participant center dashboard are now easier than ever.

Important note: As this is a new system, ALL 2023 registrants and teams are regarded as “NEW” regardless of how many years you have participated in the event. You may choose a prior year username and password or brand new ones.
